LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR ALL KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS IS MONDAY, JUNE 14, 2021. THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR GRADE 1 STUDENTS IS ON THURSDAY, JUNE 17, 2021. THIS WILL BE A HALF DAY OF SCHOOL FOR ALL STUDENTS.  DISMISSAL AT CHAFFEE SCHOOL WILL BE AT 12:10PM.  THERE IS NO AFTERSCHOOL DAYCARE ON THIS DAY. WE HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL, ENJOYABLE, RELAXING AND SAFE SUMMER!

Destruction of Special Education Student Records

In compliance with Massachusetts Student Records Regulation, the Oxford Public School District will destroy the Special Education records of any Oxford student who transferred, graduated, withdrew, or terminated from Special Education programs or services prior to June 30, 2014. This is in accordance with the requirement to destroy such records after a period of seven (7) years. After seven (7) years, the records are no longer useful to the District but they may be useful to parents/guardians or former students in applying for social security benefits, rehabilitation services, college entrance registration, etc.  Any parent/guardian or student, ages 14 years or older, can obtain their original record by providing written request via email (dtremblay@oxps.org), U.S. postal mail (Student Services Office, 4 Maple Road, Oxford, MA 01540), or via telephone at 508-987-6050 x3, no later than Friday, July 9, 2021.  All unclaimed student records meeting the above criteria will be destroyed after the July 9, 2021 deadline.
